Every Sunday night during KAKE News at 10:00 PM, KAKE and DeVaughn James Injury Lawyers will award a “Wins for Kansas” $500 grant to a deserving non-profit organization in the Wichita area. The TOUCH Closet, Inc. was the July 26, 2020 recipient.
Nustar Energy
The TOUCH Closet was awarded a $500 grant by Nustar Energy after we were showcased on KAKE news as a Wins for Kansas recipient.
Midwest Engineering, INC.
Midwest Engineering continues to provide a meeting room for TOUCH Closet, Inc. board meetings.
Miss Lanie of Laine’s Luxuries
Miss Laine of Laine’s Luxuries hosted a birthday raffle and raised $600. Those proceeds were used to purchases coats for students K-5.
St. Catherine of siena
In the summer of 2018 St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Parrish partnered with The T.O.U.C.H. Closet to help stock the closet with items needed for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year.
WICHITA CITY WIDE MISSION
The Wichita City Wide Mission is a collective of African American bodies of faith. The group meets monthly to discuss unique issues affecting their communities. This body is excited to partner with The T.O.U.C.H. Closet to provide services for the children.
KWCH Channel 12 Kansas Newman University & Wichita Eagle
The Difference Maker for Wichita Awards recognize individuals and organizations making a positive difference and celebrate their contributions, value and positive influence on improving the greater Wichita community. The TOUCH Closet was a 2020 recipient of the Everyday Heroes Award.
Cox CharitIES
The Touch Closet was selected to receive a grant from Cox Charities to support our efforts for COVID-19 relief and recovery in our community.
Twenty deserving Kansas organizations were selected to receive this relief funding from Cox Charities. “Our employees sincerely admire your commitment to making an impact during this trying time.”
FootPrints ICT
Foot Prints ICT provides provides sock drawers to schools in the Wichita area to protect kids' feet. TC is proud to partner with this organization as they help us to continually provide socks with every shoe referral.
