Jhayden

Hello, My name is Jhayden! I am 9 years young and attend Holy Savior Catholic Academy in the 3rd Grade. When I’m not at school learning, in my free timeI am creating content for my YouTube Channel. I aspire to be a musician/producer. I also love interacting with new people and helping those in need.

Jhayden became involved with the TC while attending the 2021 Juneteenth Celebration at McAdams Park. He wandered over to the T.O.U.C.H. Closet booth, started asking questions and began helping by passing out water and bring people over to learn about our organization. Since then Jhayden has been a part of the team, thanks to his grandmother for allowing him the opportunity.

Mariyah

Greetings, I’m Mariyah the granddaughter of both Benita Chaplin and Sarah Demby. I love all things fashion. In my spare time I travel for basketball (Go Kansas United 2029!) or I can be found playing in makeup. I aspire to be a business owner and will begin with my very own jewelry making business in the near future.

Mariyah learned of the non profit as a result of being the granddaughter of both founders however, it was her desire to help others that made her a part of the team. Once she learned the mission of the T.O.U.C.H. Closet Mariyah began identifying students in her school that could benefit from the organization which lead to the partnership with her elementary school.
