Through her program, she has specifically concentrated her studies in grant writing, advocacy in social policy, and administration. She first came into contact with the organization T.O.U.C.H. Closet, while working at Wichita Children’s Home. While conversing with the Chief Executive Officer Benita Chaplin about passions, and community involvements, she was able to learn more about the amazing mission of T.O.U.C.H. Closet. The clear passion and love Benita had for her organization drew Megan to wanting to help expand the services offered by offering her skills in grant writing. When Benita invited her to join the board, she knew she had to accept, and saw the opportunity as a way to help expand program delivery through assisting in the process to increase donor participation and grant funding..
